Beginners Evening Shibari (Keiko Training)

Introduction Class Shibari

Tying and dancing have a lot in common. Both are about leading and being led. You dance your way through the ropes together. It's not only the rigger who guides the model, the model also gives direction. The first steps in unknown territory are always the most difficult. There are so many new impressions, so much to learn that, sometimes, you don't know where to start. It's no difference with Shibari, there are so many techniques and restraints that it's easy to get lost in them

In this workshop you will learn how to use the rope as a tool to convey and trigger emotions and to communicate with the rope through non-verbal channels.

No complicated knots or elaborate ties are required for this.

In this workshop I want to show you how much can be triggered with a rope, the right technique and some knowledge of body manipulation.

The workshop starts with a theoretical part where we will talk about the philosophy of tying, consens as the most important basis and intentions to find the right path together with your partner. This is followed by the practical part, in which we take up a simple starting knot, deal with how we can move our partner as efficiently as possible and communicate effectively with one rope.
